Seminar on life and contributions of Shehbaz Rajourvi and Fida Rajourvi held at Jammu

Iqra Foundation, in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmiri Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages, hosted a one-day seminar dedicated to commemorating the life and significant contributions of renowned poets Shehbaz Rajourvi and Fida Rajourvi. The event took place under the distinguished presidency of Mr. Ramzan Shad.

Distinguished scholars and intellectuals, Dr. Mushtaq Wani and Manshoor Banihali, presented insightful papers, shedding light on the profound impact of the Rajourvi poets on literature and culture.

Each speaker provided valuable perspectives on the literary legacy left behind by Shehbaz Rajourvi and Fida Rajourvi.

Dr. Shahnawaz, Cultural Officer at Jammu and Kashmiri Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages, delivered opening remarks, setting the tone for the day’s discussions. The proceedings were skillfully conducted by Shabir Rather, President of Iqra Foundation.

In a poignant tribute, speakers recited the timeless poetry of both legendary poets, capturing the essence of their profound verses.
