HM Amit Shah pays homage to freedom fighter Karpoori Thakur

Home Minister Amit Shah today paid homage to freedom fighter and pioneer of social consciousness, Karpoori Thakur on his death anniversary. In a social media post, Mr.Shah said that Karpuri ji has established the highest standards of purity and sacrifice in his social life.

Mr. Shah added he devoted his life to the rights of backward people and women. The Union Minister further said, Thakur ji had done important work in making the education system accessible to all. Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi for honouring him with Bharat Ratna, he said  Prime Minister Modi has highlighted the works of Karpoori Thakur ji.
