President Droupadi Murmu to be on 5-day visit to Andaman and Nicobar Islands
President Droupadi Murmu will be on a 5-day visit to Andaman and Nicobar Islands beginning today. During the visit, the President will lay a wreath at the Martyr’s Column and visit the Cellular Jail Complex and Museum today.
The President will also witness the light and sound show at the Cellular Jail. She will also visit Dr.BR Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Port Blair to attend a civic reception to be hosted in the President’s honour.
Tomorrow, the President will visit Indira Point Campbell Bay, and Subhash Chandra Bose Island and witness the light and sound show.
On Wednesday, the President will interact with the members of PVTGs of Andaman and Nicobar Islands at Raj Niwas in Port Blair. On the same day, the President will witness the operational demonstration by troops at Radhanagar Beach.
