India Meteorological Department has forecast fairly widespread light rainfall and snowfall with thunderstorms and lightning over Northeast India to continue till Sunday. IMD has said that light to moderate rainfall over West Bengal, Odisha, and Jharkhand is likely to prevail till Tuesday.

 

IMD has also said that hot and humid weather is likely over Kerala till Sunday. The weather agency said that no significant change in minimum temperatures is likely over Northwest and Central India during the next two days and a rise by 2 to 3 degree Celsius will be observed thereafter.

Meanwhile, Cloudy sky for the next five to six days is likely in the National Capital. The temperature was recorded around 10.4 degree Celsius this morning. The air quality level in Delhi continues to be in the “moderate” category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the Air Quality Index stood at 161 as of 7 AM on Saturday.
