PM Modi welcomes SC decision on MP and MLA’s privileges

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has welcomed the judgment of the Supreme Court that MPs and MLAs do not enjoy immunity from prosecution for taking bribes to make a speech or cast a vote in Parliament and Legislative Assemblies.

n a social media post, Mr Modi said, it is a great judgment by the Supreme Court which will ensure clean politics and deepen people’s faith in the system.
