PM Modi launches several development projects worth over 6,400 crore rupees from Srinagar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched and and dedicated to the nation several development projects worth over 6,400 crore rupees during Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu and Kashmir programme at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar today. Mr Modi is on a day-long visit to the Union Terriotry.
During the programme, the Prime Minister will dedicate to nation Holistic Agriculture Development Programme of about five thousand crore rupees for boosting agri-economy in the Union Territory.
He will also dedicate to the nation and launch multiple projects related to the tourism sector worth more than 1400 crore rupees under Swadesh Darshan and PRASHAD (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation And Spiritual, Heritage Augmentation Drive) scheme.
The Prime Minister will also launch about 43 projects that will develop a wide range of pilgrimage and tourist sites across the country. ‘Dekho Apna Desh People’s Choice 2024’ and ‘Chalo India Global Diaspora Campaign will also be launched.He will also announce tourist destinations selected under Challenge Based Destination Development Scheme.
