Sensex Falls 361 Points; Nifty Down Too By 92 Points

Domestic Benchmark indices, the Sensex and the Nifty halted a three-day bull run on Tuesday (26th March 2024). The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange settled 0.5 percent lower at 72,470 with a fall of 361 points while Nifty was down too by 92 points or 0.42 percent at 22,004.

Negative trade in both the indices can be attributed to volatility risen ahead of monthly Future & Options expiry.
