Met Department Forecasts Heavy Rain To Continue In Kerala

In Kerala,the Met Department forecasts heavy rain to continue in the coming days. Yellow alert is issued in six districts today, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Wayanad. Orange alert is issued in Palakkad and Malappuram districts for tomorrow.

Meanwhile, as strong winds of 40 to 55 km per hour and bad weather are likely to occur over south Kerala coast and Lakshadweep regions from tomorrow till Monday, fishermen are warned from venturing into the sea.
