Canada Beat Ireland By 12 Runs In A Group A Match In New York

In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, Canada beat Ireland by 12 runs at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, US, last night.

 

Batting first Canada scored 137 for 7 in stipulated 20 overs. In reply, Ireland just managed to score 125 for seven wickets.

Two matches are underway this morning.

In the first clash, Afghanistan has given a target of 160 runs to New Zealand to win the match at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. Batting first, Afghanistan made 159 for 6 in the 20 overs. Kiwis have scored 75 runs in 15.2 overs. Afghanistan won by 84 runs.

 

Another match is underway between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas, US. Batting first, Sri Lanka has made 124 for 9. In reply, Bangladesh have made 125 for the loss of 8 wickets in 19 overs. Bangladesh won by 2 wickets.
