Batch Of 5,696 Amarnath Pilgrims Left Yatri Niwas Base Camp In Bhagwati Nagar In Jammu

Another batch of 5,696 Amarnath pilgrims left the Yatri Niwas base camp in Bhagwati Nagar in Jammu this morning for Kashmir Valley amid tight secuirty in a cavalcade of 219 vehicles. Of these 1,591 males, 360 females, 5 children, 64 sadhus and 8 sadhvies left for Baltal base camp whereas 2896 males, 651, females, 5 children, 103 sadhus and 13 sadhvies left for Pahalgam base camp.

From the two base camps in valley, they will proceed towards the holy cave shrine in the Kashmir Himalayas.
