Tarigami Demands Adequate Compensation for Anantnag Fire Victims

CPI(M) leader Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami Wednesday expressed anguish over the tragic fire mishap in Mehman Mohalla of Anantnag yesterday and demanded adequate compensation for the affected families.

  Tarigami in a statement said that several residential houses and shops were damaged in the fire, leaving a trail of destruction behind it.

 He urged the administration to depute revenue teams to assess the losses incurred by the victims so that the value of compensation is fixed and distributed among them immediately.

 He also demanded adequate compensation and rehabilitation of fire victims. [KNT]
