Army recover rusted shell in Sarankote

Army recovered a rusted UBGL shell near Chandimarh River in the Surankote area of Poonch district.

Official sources said that the shell was recovered by the troops during a search operation in the area.

 The shell was destroyed successfully without causing any damage.

 Different forest areas of the Jammu region have been witnessing cordon and search operations due to the possible presence of militants. [KNT]
