CEC Rajiv Kumar assures Fair and Impartial Elections in J&K, Haryana as Observers Meet in Delhi

A meeting of General Observers, Police Observers and Expenditure Observers for Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana Assembly polls was held in New Delhi today. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar and Election Commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Dr Sukhbir Singh Sandhu addressed the Observers on polling in both the states.

Speaking to media after the meeting, CEC Rajiv Kumar said, the Commission has asked observers to be in the field for the candidates and political parties. He said, the election in both states will be held in fair and impartial manner. The CEC said, there is excitement among people of Jammu and Kashmir for the assembly polls.
