Gazanfar Ali Seeks Support for Lal Chowk Assembly Seat
Gazanfar Ali, former Commissioner of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, is contesting the upcoming assembly elections from the Lal Chowk constituency on the Engineer Rashid led Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) ticket.
Addressing a gathering of supporters, Ali appealed to voters to give him a chance, promising not to disappoint them.
Gazanfar Ali vowed to transform Srinagar into a beautiful landscape if elected, stating that his doors would always be open to the people. He emphasized his commitment to mitigating the sufferings of the people and fighting against the drug menace.
The AIP candidate also highlighted the need to address unemployment among youth, promising to prioritize job creation and engagement opportunities.
Ali faces competition from Engineer Ajaz Hussain of the BJP, Zuhaib Mir of the PDP, Muhammad Ashraf Mir of the Apni Party, and Ahsan Pardesi of the NC.
The Lal Chowk Assembly segment goes to polls on September 25. [KNT]
