2 soldiers injured in landmine blast

Two Indian Army personnel sustained injuries in a landmine blast that occurred near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district’s Trehgam area on Friday.

 The incident took place during an early morning patrol in Googaldara, when the soldiers inadvertently triggered the explosive device.

 “Fortunately, the injuries are not severe,” a defense official stated. “Both personnel have been rushed to the Army hospital in Drugmulla, where they are receiving medical attention.”

 Their condition is reported as stable. [KNT]
