PM, HM, CM Others condole untimely demise

(ANB): The sudden passing of Devender Singh Rana, the senior BJP leader and sitting MLA from Nagrota, has left his followers and the region in deep mourning.
Rana passed away late Thursday evening at a Delhi hospital, where he had been receiving treatment for the past few days.
People and politicians across party lines paid their last tributes to
Devender Singh Rana aka DSR at his home at Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah, along with various political and social leaders, have expressed their condolences on his untimely demise.
Omar Abdullah, Deputy Chief Minister and a galaxy of other political leaders visited the residence of the deceased leader. Earlier, Omar shared an emotional post on X to remember his former colleague.
Known for his dedication and long-standing service to the community, DSR’s contributions have been recognized widely across the state.
The people bid him an emotional farewell, with many reflecting on his enduring legacy and commitment to public service. Rana’s influence was profound, and his passing marks a significant loss for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, according to the Associated News Bureau (ANB).
Meanwhile, the leaders of Apni Party have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passing of a veteran politician and a prominent businessman.
Bukhari, in his condolence message, said, “I am deeply saddened by the sudden demise of Devender Singh Rana Ji. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his grieving family, and in this hour of grief, I stand in solidarity with them. May Almighty give them the strength to bear the pain of this immense loss, and may He rest the departed soul in eternal peace.”
Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Er. Gulam Ali Khatana also expressed deep shock over the untimely demise of senior party colleague and MLA, Devinder Singh Rana.
“Shocked to hear about the sudden demise of Devinder Rana ji. Deepest condolences to his family and loved ones,” Khatana said, extending his sympathies. (ANB)
