BJP J&K Chief bats for equal treatment to Kashmir & Jammu Divisions

ANB: Newly appointed J&K BJP President Sat Sharma was felicitated at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, upon his arrival to Jammu after being appointed State President by the national leadership on Sunday.

Earlier, Sat Sharma was accorded a warm welcome by the enthusiastic BJP workers at Jammu Airport, who then proceeded to the BJP headquarters in the form of a rally.

Ravinder Raina, outgoing President along with Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister, Shamsher Singh Manhas, former President, Vibodh Gupta, General Secretary, District Presidents Parmod Kapahi, Rekha Mahajan, Gopal Mahajan, & Omi Khajuria, Spokesperson Girdhari Lal Raina spoke on the occasion, wishing Sat Sharma for the Presidential Post.

Sat Sharma praised the outgoing President Ravinder Raina for his relentless work in extending the party work to limitless corners of the region.

He expressed gratitude for the support and pledged to work tirelessly for the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

He assured party members that he would focus on strengthening the organization, connecting with youth, and promoting inclusive development across the region. He said that the BJP has now become a mass-based party with an organized network of mature activists.

He said that BJP is now making history every time. He said that on one hand our 28 MLAs are actively thwarting any nefarious designs within the Assembly and on the other hand our countless activists are ready to resist any anti-national or anti-social design on the roads.

He said that BJP is a party with a difference and asked the activists to reflect the same within the society. He expressed confidence that with the support of the party activists, they will work as a team to take the party to new heights.

While emphasizing the need to develop both regions Jammu & Kashmir with the same emphasis, Sat Sharma also focused on the need to further strengthen the will to fight the ill designs of certain forces which intend to destroy the development agenda set up by the Modi government in Jammu & Kashmir, according to the Associated News Bureau (ANB).
