J&K Assembly’s Resolution Calling for Open Dialogue on Special Status Reflects NC’s Significant Shift: Amit Malviya

ANB: Senior BJP leader Amit Malviya, today termed the ruling National Conference’s (NC) resolution in J&K Assembly “an interesting development”
Malviya, who is the member of BJPs National Executive, in an X post said, “Interesting development in J&K Assembly. The resolution adopted today, reflects a new approach by the ruling National Conference.”
According to the Associated News Bureau (ANB), Malviya said that instead of insisting on the full restoration of Article 370, the resolution calls for open dialogue on the issue—a significant shift that acknowledges the new reality, post 5th Aug 2019.
The senior BJP leader said this step paves the way for meaningful engagement with the people of J&K, adding, the delusional Congress, with just 6 MLAs, has apparently opposed the resolution. (ANB)
