Boys hostel gutted in Kishtwar fire incident

KNT: A Gujjar and Bakarwal hostel was gutted in a fire incident in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district of Jammu region, officials said.
The fire broke out in the hostel late Sunday night, they said.
They added that the building was partially damaged however there was no loss of life. ‘All the students were evacuated safely,’ officials said.
The cause of the fire is attributed to a short circuit, however, a police official said that facts will surface after the investigation. [KNT]
