Jammu Police recovers 30 lost, stolen smartphones, Returned to rightful owners

KNT: Jammu Police have successfully recovered 30 lost and stolen smartphones worth over 4 lakh rupees and returned them to rightful owners on Monday.
These recoveries were made under operation ‘Re-Connect, police said adding that it took two month for Jammu Police’s specialized Tech team to recover these cell phones.
“These devices had been reported missing in different police stations and border police posts in Jammu’s Headquarter Zone.”
‘In a modest ceremony at SP headquarters Jammu, the recovered devices were handed back to their rightful owners,’ the police said adding that citizens expressed gratitude to police for the selfless public service. [KNT]
