Stunt Driver Caught, Vehicle Seized in Baramulla

 KNT: The Traffic Police in Rural Kashmir seized a vehicle involved in stunt driving in Baramulla district after a video clip showed Faisal Fayaz Gojree, a third-semester B.A. student, performing dangerous stunts on the road. The vehicle (JK01AQ-5272), was seized by DySP Traffic Baramulla under relevant sections of the law.

Police said that Faisal, residing in Iqbal Colony, Pattan, was counseled by Traffic Police and given a chance to amend his actions. “However, due to the severity of the stunt driving, his driving license will be suspended until he demonstrates better maturity and responsibility,” police said.

Senior Superintendent of Police Traffic Rural Kashmir, Ravinder Pal Singh, emphasized the need for stricter enforcement of traffic laws to ensure road safety. “We take such incidents seriously. Reckless driving will not be tolerated under any circumstances,” he said. [KNT]
