KPDCL files police complaint after Srinagar consumer manhandles inspection staff

Several employees from Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited were manhandled during night inspections in Srinagar’s Huzuribagh area, prompting a police complaint against the consumer.
A KPDC official said that a consumer manhandled and abused a KPDCL staff of Electric Subdivision Huzuribagh, during a night inspection.
He said the consumer lost his cool after a permanent hooking arrangement was detected at his home. “A police complaint has been filed against the consumer so that action under rules is initiated against him,” he added. [KNT]
