Proposed satellite townships exclusively meant for locals: Nasir Aslam Wani
Srinagar, Dec 6, KNT: National Conference leader advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani Friday clarified that the proposed satellite townships in Kashmir are intended for the local population, contradicting claims by the PDP of demographic changes.
Wani while dismissing the allegations of PDP said that these townships will serve the people of Kashmir. He said there is no need to create a controversy.
Wani who was talking to reporters at National Confernce headquarters in Srinagar attributed the current controversy to the PDP’s past actions.
The NC Chief Spokesman, Tanvir Sadiq, added that the government will officially address the PDP’s objections, reiterating that their decisions prioritize the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir’s people. [KNT]
