Young man dies in fall while pruning chinar tree in Ganderbal

Ganderbal A young man was killed on Tuesday after falling from a chinar tree while pruning it in the Tulmulla area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The deceased, identified as Umaan Akbar Bhat, a resident of Safapora, fell from the tree while carrying out the task and was immediately rushed to the hospital. However, doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival.
In response to the incident, the district administration has ordered a time-bound inquiry into the matter. The Assistant Commissioner of Ganderbal has been instructed to submit a detailed report within a week. Authorities are looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident. [KNT]
