J&K LA Releases Provisional Calendar for 2nd Session

Srinagar,  The J&K Legislative Assembly Secretariat on Friday released the calendar for the second session of the Union Territory’s Legislative Assembly, which is set to begin from March 3.

According to the Associated News Bureau, the session will begin with the Lieutenant Governor’s address on March 3. From March 04 to March 06, the discussions will take place on the Motion of Thanks. On March 7, Annual Financial Statement (Budget) 2025-26 and the Supplementary Expenditure Statement for 2024-25 will be presented.

General discussions on the budget will take place From March 8 to 11, general discussion on the budget will occur with the government responding to the same on March 11. 

From March 12 to 25, the session will be on Demands for Grants. The session will conclude with government business on Friday, April 11. (ANB)
