Sensex & Nifty Fall, Weighed Down by Industrials, Consumer Durables & Metal Sectors

The benchmark domestic equity indices, Sensex and Nifty, were trading down in the afternoon trade today, dragged by the industrials, consumer durables, and metal sectors.

The 30-share BSE Sensex shed 273 points, or 0.36 percent, to 75,724, and the NSE Nifty50 lost 100 points, or 0.44 percent, to 22,859 when reports last came in.
