Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurates Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela 2025 in New Delhi today

Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela began in New Delhi today. The theme of the three-day fair is Unnat Krishi – Viksit Bharat. Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Chouhan said, farming is the backbone and lifeline of India’s economy. He said, a developed India cannot be achieved without farmers and agriculture. The Minister said, the government is continuously working in the field of agriculture to make India a developed nation by 2047.

The key attractions of the Krishi Vigyan Mela this year are the live demonstrations of the cutting-edge varieties and technologies developed by Indian Agricultural Research Institute.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore exhibitions showcasing promising technologies, products, and services from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Krishi Vigyan Kendras, Farmers’ Producer Organizations, entrepreneurs, and start-ups.

Additionally, technical sessions and farmers-scientists interactions focusing on crucial topics such as climate-resilient agriculture, crop diversification, digital agriculture, and entrepreneurship development for youth and women will be held. On-Spot agro-advisories will also be provided.
