Animal Welfare Board of India to hold Prani Mitra, Jeev Daya Award Ceremony in New Delhi
The Animal Welfare Board of India has said that its Prani Mitra and Jeev Daya Award Ceremony will be held today in New Delhi. The award ceremony recognizes outstanding individuals and organizations for their remarkable contributions to animal welfare and protection.
The awards will be distributed across two primary categories: the Prani Mitra Award and the Jeev Daya Award. The Prani Mitra Award will be granted in five sub-categories.
These include Advocacy (Individual), Innovative Idea (Individual), Lifetime Animal Service (Individual), as well as two awards designated for Animal Welfare Organizations and corporate entities, Public Sector Undertakings, Government Bodies, or Cooperatives. The Jeev Daya Award will be awarded in three sub-categories: Individual, Animal Welfare Organization, and Schools, Institutions, Teachers, or Children.
Union Ministers of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel and George Kurian along with other senior officials will be present in the ceremony.
