Police facilitate PCPG meeting in Budgam

Srinagar, ANB, In its ongoing efforts to address public concerns and strengthen community engagement, Police in Budgam facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Station Khag. The meeting was chaired by SHO PS Khag and was attended by respectable citizens including members of Market associations, Auqaf Bodies, Chowkidars, Numberdars, and other representatives of villages of Khag area which includes Sutharan, Lassipora, Drang, Poshkar, Segoun, Shuplian, Bansheran, Pethshara, Lakipora, Hamchipora, Trapy, Hamchipora etc.

During the meeting, the chairing officer gave a patient hearing to the issues of participants and assured them that their genuine issues pertaining to other departments will be taken up immediately with the concerned officers for appropriate action besides issues related to Police would be resolved on priority. The participants were stressed to cooperate with Police in maintaining law and order in the areas and in identifying anti-national and anti-social elements who try to disrupt the peaceful environment.

The meeting concluded on a positive note with commitment that Police and Public will work in tandem towards eradicating the evils from the Society. ANB.
