Police organises drug awareness rally in Budgam

Srinagar, ANB,  In a steadfast commitment to combat drug abuse and promote a drug free society, Police in Budgam in collaboration with Celestial Buds High School Check-I-Kawoosa organised an awareness rally against drug abuse and illicit trafficking at Narbal town.

According to News Service, Associated News Bureau, ANB, The  rally was attended by the Incharge Police Post Narbal, Principal of the school, Faculty members, Students of the institution and other social activists of the area.

Students were holding banners and placards in their hands with messages against substance abuse and raised slogans against social evil and pledged to join their hands to eradicate this menace from society.

Incharge Police Post Narbal while speaking on the occasion emphasized on the grave impact of the drug abuse on youth and society and urged all to come together to combat this menace and protect our future generations.

He requested parents, teachers and community members to remain vigilant and supportive, guiding the youth towards a healthy and positive lifestyle. These initiatives aimed to educate the public about the perils of drug addiction and galvanize community efforts against this growing menace. The event underscored the collective commitment of the community to fight against the menace of drug abuse.
