Satish Sharma, Mian Altaf visit GMC Anantnag to Assess Condition of injured victims of Pahalgam Attack
ANANTNAG, Anb, Minister for Transport, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Satish Sharma, Member of Parliament Mian Altaf Ahmad along with MLA Anantnag West Abdul Majeed Bhat today visited the Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag to meet the injured of the tragic incident that occurred in Pahalgam recently.
According to News Service, Associated News Service, ANB, This crucial visit was held to assess the medical condition of the injured individuals, inspect the healthcare facilities, and take stock of the ongoing treatment being administered.
Upon arrival, the Minister and the MP were received by the Medical Superintendent of GMC Anantnag, along with senior administrative and medical staff. They were briefed extensively on the immediate emergency response carried out after the incident, the current health status of the injured patients, and the logistical and clinical support being extended to the victims and their families.
The Minister and the MP visited individual patients, interacting directly with them and their families to extend their empathy and reassurance. They expressed deep concern over the traumatic episode and conveyed heartfelt wishes for the victims’ speedy recovery. While speaking with the injured, the Minister said, “We assure the affected and their families that the government stands firmly with them.”
They praised the medical teams for their rapid and effective response. The Minister further said, “All necessary medical care and support will be provided and no effort will be spared in their recovery.” They also strongly condemned the attack as cowardly and inhuman. The MINISTER said, “Let this be a clear and final message to those exporting terror to India. We not tolerate the spilling of innocent blood. We will respond with strength, not silence. Those behind this attack will be hunted down and dealt with decisively.”
Notably, following the terror incident at Pahalgam, a number of victims are admitted to Government Medical College Anantnag where they are being treated to recovery under the care of senior doctors. ANB.
