Youth 4 Panun Kashmir Launches ‘Kath-Baath’: A New Chapter of Intra-Community Dialogue in Faridabad
Faridabad, April 27, 2025: Youth 4 Panun Kashmir (Y4PK), the premier youth-led organization advocating for the rights and aspirations of Kashmiri Hindus, inaugurated the first session of its flagship intra-community dialogue initiative, ‘Kath-Baath’, at the Kashmiri Pandit Welfare Association Bhawan, Sector 37, Faridabad.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from prominent members of the Kashmiri Hindu community residing in Faridabad, including senior citizens, youth leaders, intellectuals, and professionals. The gathering was marked by intense, heartfelt discussions aimed at confronting the pressing issues facing the community today — ranging from the challenges of cultural preservation in exile to economic, educational, and political empowerment.
The ‘Kath-Baath’ initiative has been envisioned as a grassroots dialogue platform where Kashmiri Hindus come together in an open, candid, and structured manner to discuss internal concerns, consolidate collective wisdom, and evolve strategies for community rejuvenation. It embodies the spirit of “Vichar se Vikas” — progress through thought — aligning with the larger mission of Youth 4 Panun Kashmir to forge an awakened, empowered, and future-ready Kashmiri Hindu society.
During the course of the deliberations, participants voiced critical concerns over the erosion of cultural identity among younger generations, the lack of structured mentorship for youth, the need for a unified socio-political voice, and the imperative to preserve the civilizational memory of Kashmir in exile. Issues pertaining to resettlement, education, representation, and socio-economic support structures were also discussed at length.
The session culminated in a unanimous decision to continue and expand the Kath-Baath series in Faridabad, recognizing the urgent necessity for sustained dialogue and action-oriented resolutions. Accordingly, it was decided that the next chapters of Kath-Baath would be organized in Shalimar Garden and Noida, ensuring broader participation and deeper engagement from the community across Delhi-NCR.
Speaking at the conclusion of the event, Digamber Raina, General Secretary of Youth 4 Panun Kashmir, emphasized,
“Kath-Baath is not just a program — it is a movement to reconnect every Kashmiri Hindu soul to the civilizational spirit of our homeland. Through dialogue, we will rediscover our strengths, address our challenges, and shape a collective roadmap towards our rightful aspirations.”
Youth 4 Panun Kashmir extends an open call to all members of the Kashmiri Hindu community, especially the youth and thought leaders, to actively participate in the forthcoming sessions of Kath-Baath and become partners in this historic endeavor to script a new chapter of resilience, unity, and resurgence.
