The Indian Coast Guard is protecting the endangered Olive Ridley Turtles under Operation Olivia and preserving the nation’s rich maritime ecosystem.

In a statement, the Indian Coast Guard said, the country’s eastern coastline, particularly Gahirmatha Beach, Odisha, serves as a vital nesting ground for Olive Ridley Turtles, with over eight lakh turtles arriving annually.
