Man Killed in Road Accident in Baramulla

Baramulla,  KNT: A man lost his life in a  road accident involving an army vehicle on the Azadgunj bridge in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.

Officials said the victim, identified as Abdul Gani Rather, son of Abdul Gaffar Rather and a resident of Deewanbagh, died on the spot after he reportedly lost control of his two-wheeler and came under an army vehicle.

The deceased was a plumber by profession.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated necessary proceedings. [KNT]
