Pahalgam, ANB: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha on Sunday visited the Chandanwari Base Camp, one of the key points on the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra route, to review the medical arrangements put in place for the safety and well-being of the pilgrims.
During his visit, the Lt Governor interacted with doctors and the medical team stationed at the Base Camp Hospital. He took stock of the healthcare facilities, emergency response mechanisms, and availability of essential medicines and equipment.
According to news service, Associated News Bureau, ANB, Sinha appreciated the dedication of the medical staff and directed officials to ensure that high standards of care are maintained throughout the yatra period. He emphasized the importance of timely medical support and seamless coordination among health, disaster response, and administrative departments to handle any exigency. The visit is part of the UT administration’s continuous monitoring of arrangements to ensure a smooth, safe, and comfortable pilgrimage for the devotees. ANB
