INAUGURATES DIGITAL LEARNING CENTRE AT LADAKH SCOUTS REGIMENTAL CENTRE (LSRC)
Leh, ANB, Digital Learning Centre, Leh was inaugurated by Maj Gen Ravinder Kumar, Sena Medal, General Officer Commanding, Leh Sub Area at Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre, Leh. The Digital Learning Centre, Leh has been established as part of a joint initiative by Headquarters Army Welfare Placement Organisation, New Delhi and Dell Technologies under which Information Technology (IT) related will be imparted to Ex-servicemen / Serving Personnel & their dependents residing in Leh and nearby areas.
This welfare initiative of Indian Army is aimed at enhancing IT literacy amongst Ex-servicemen / Serving Personnel & their dependents in order to empower them with IT knowledge & therefore provide them better employment opportunities besides improving their living standards.
The General Office Commanding, Leh Sub Area during the interaction with the trainees, encouraged them to make the best use of this opportunity. According to news service, Associated news bureau, anb, The Veterans community expressed their gratitude towards the Indian Army, Fire & Fury Corps & Leh Sub Area for the initiative & support being provided to them.
Establishment of the Digital Learning Centre at Leh is another step by Fire & Fury Corps for empowerment of Veterans community of Ladakh after implementation of Project NAMAN & Army Placement Cell at Leh. ANB
