Man Dies After Falling from Rooftop in Safapora’s Chewa Village
Safapora, KNT: A man lost his life after falling from the rooftop of his residential house in Chewa village of Safapora area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The deceased has been identified as Jalal ud Din Bhat, son of Khazir Mohammad Bhat, a native of Chewa. According to local residents, the accident took place when Bhat, while attending to some work on the rooftop, lost his balance and fell down. The fall proved fatal, leaving him critically injured and causing his death on the spot.
Eyewitnesses and neighbors rushed to the scene immediately but could do little as the injuries were too severe to allow any chance of survival. By the time help arrived, Bhat had already succumbed.
Police registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
