Over 3.77 Lakh Pilgrims Perform Amarnath Yatra So Far

In Jammu and Kashmir, over 3.77 lakh pilgrims have performed the ongoing Amarnath Yatra since it began on the 3rd of this month.

The ‘Chhari Sthapana’ ceremony was held yesterday at the Shri Amareshwar Temple inside the Dashnami Akhara Building in Srinagar. The ‘Chhari Pujan’ will be celebrated tomorrow, on ‘Nag Panchami,’ at the same temple, while the final journey of the Chhari Mubarak will begin on August 4 towards the holy cave shrine. The ‘Chhari Mubarak’ is traditionally housed at the Amareshwar Temple in the Dashnami Akhara Building, located in the Budshah Chowk area of Srinagar city.
