Monsoon Session of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly Begins Today

The four-day-long Monsoon Session of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly will begin today. The first supplementary budget for the financial year 2025-26 will also be tabled today in the Assembly.

A special debate on the heavy rainfall received this year across the State will be conducted on August 26. The discussion will include special relief and waiver to be provided to farmers due to incessant rains. Four bills, including the formation of the State University Commission, will also be presented in this session.
