Sensex, Nifty Climb Moderately Amid Sectoral Divergence

Benchmark domestic equity indices, Sensex and Nifty, were trading with moderate gains in the forenoon trade today.

Sensex increased 278 points, to 81 thousand 585, and Nifty advanced 90 points, to 24 thousand 969, when reports last came in. On the sectoral front, IT, Realty and Consumer Durables were gaining the most, while selling was seen across Media and Healthcare.
