Tree Falls on Transformer Along Tangmarg-Drung Road, Traffic Movement Affected

Tangmarg, , KNT : A tree came crashing down on an electronic transformer along the Tangmarg-Drung road on Sunday, disrupting traffic movement in the area.

Fortunately, no loss of life or property was reported in the incident.

Officials said teams from the Forest Department, J&K Police, CRPF, and local residents swiftly reached the spot and launched a joint effort to clear the debris. The operation to remove the fallen tree and restore smooth traffic is currently underway.

Authorities have advised commuters to exercise caution while traveling on the stretch until the road is fully cleared. [KNT]
