Uttarakhand Gets Respite from Heavy Rain; Roads Being Cleared

Uttarakhand received some respite today after continuous rainfall across various parts of the state. With the rain easing, efforts to clear blocked roads by landslides in mountainous areas have been intensified.

Relief and rescue operations are also underway in disaster-affected regions. Meanwhile, the Met Department has forecast light to moderate rainfall in some parts of the state today. Rainfall is expected to continue over the coming days.
