IMD Issues Orange Alert for Heavy to Very Heavy Rain in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana

The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana for today.

The Met department has also predicted heavy rainfall over Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Keral, Mahe, Konkan, Goa, Lakshadweep, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal till tomorrow.

The Weather Agency added that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next three to four days.
