Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan to inaugurate 39th Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2026
The 39th Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2026 will begin in Faridabad today. Vice President CP Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the fair. The theme of the fair this year is Local to Global, aiming to give the traditional art of local artisans recognition on an international platform. Uttar Pradesh and Meghalaya are the theme states for this edition, while Egypt participates as the partner nation.
The fair will feature numerous performances by renowned national and international folk artists and cultural groups at the Chaupals, the open-air theatres within the Mela premises. Additionally, captivating evening cultural programs will be held daily at the main Chaupal. The event is jointly organised by the Haryana Tourism Corporation and the Union Ministries of Tourism, Textiles, Culture, and External Affairs, and will continue till 15th February.
