President Anura Kumara Disanayaka Arrives in New Delhi for AI Impact Summit 2026
High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to India, Mahishini Colonne, has said that Sri Lanka’s participation at the India AI Impact Summit reflects the depth and priority of the India – Sri Lanka partnership. In a social media post, Ms Colonne said that the Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Disanayaka has arrived in New Delhi for the AI Impact Summit 2026 – the first summit of its kind to be hosted in the Global South.
Ms Colonne noted that Sri Lankan President’s participation at AI Impact Summit 2026 underscores both the closeness of the relationship between the two countries and the commitment to working together on issues that will shape the future. She added that this also reflects the shared commitment in ensuring innovation remains inclusive, responsible and people-centred.
