Vomedh’s ‘Jaikara’ Makes a Triumphant Return to Abhinav Theatre

Jammu, April 19, 2026: Responding to tremendous public demand, the Amarnath Vaishnavi Foundation and Vomedh Rangmanch once again presented the acclaimed historical production “Jaikara – The Legend of Praja Parishad & Amarnath Vaishnavi”, directed by Ravinder Sharma and designed by Rohit Bhat, at a packed Abhinav Theatre on Saturday.

The theatrical production, written by Rohini Vaishnavi and presented by Vomedh Rangmanch under the mentorship of Rohit Bhat, President of Vomedh, once again brought alive Shri Amarnath Vaishnavi’s fearless role in the Praja Parishad movement, his lifelong service to the Kashmiri Pandit community, and his sacrifices for justice and dignity. The lead role of Shri Amarnath Vaishnavi was powerfully portrayed by Vinay Pandita, with Himagani Moza serving as the narrator.

Other prominent roles were skillfully enacted by J.R. Sagar, who portrayed the multifaceted characters of the Judge and Kavinder Gupta with great authority, while Shammi Dhamir appeared as the Police Inspector. They were ably supported by Aarohi Moza as young Rohini and Ranveer Pandita as young Amarnath Vaishnavi, along with a stellar ensemble cast including Sunny Mujoo, Rahul Pandita, Suman Pandita, Kamakshya Dogra, Akash Katoch, Kandarva, Aarohi Balgotra, Sakhsham, Ramesh Pandita, Suvisha Tickoo, Poorvi, Aryan, Anshul, Tanisha Shishoo, Suman Bhat, Bharti Kaul, Vineeta Tickoo, Arvin Tickoo, Rupali Malhotra, Meenakshi Bandari, Vanshika Verma, Chahat Gupta, Sarika Kumari, Bhoomi Chadha, Nitesh Kumar, and Neha.

The backstage team included Shammi Dhamir (Makeup), Bharti Kaul (Costumes), Pankaj Sharma (Lights), Sushma Kumari (Properties), Lokesh (Sound), and Hall Management by Supriya Pandita, Tara Ji, Vimal, Arun, Rameshwar Singh Rana, and Jitendra Jyotshi.

Among the prominent attendees were Moti Lal Malla, Kailash Mehra Sadhu, Avtar Motta, Prof. B.L. Zutshi, Bal Krishan Sanyasi, Ramesh Hangloo, King C Bharati, Vijay Kapoor, Bhupinder Singh Raina, Ravi Dhar, Kusum Dhar, Kamal Razdan, Krishan Langoo, Jai Krishan Bali, and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Rohini Vaishnavi, granddaughter of Shri Amarnath Vaishnavi and founder of the Foundation, said that the centenary was “not just about remembrance, but about carrying forward Lalaji’s ideals of selfless service, courage, and truth.” The event was smoothly managed by Vomedh Rangmanch.
