Vande Mataram Will Now Be Compulsory As Prayer Song In All Madrasas, Announces West Bengal Govt

The West Bengal government has announced that Vande Mataram will now be compulsory as the prayer song in all madrasas.

The Madrasa Education Department has issued a directive stating that, from now on, students in institutions under the Minority Affairs and Madrasa Education Department must sing Vande Mataram before the start of classes, replacing earlier guidelines and practices.
