Man Dies of Electrocution Near HMT Area in Srinagar

Srinagar,  KNT: A 35-year-old man died after receiving an electric shock near Aam Bab Ziyarat in the HMT area of Srinagar on Thursday, officials said.
The victim was shifted to JVC Hospital, Bemina, immediately after the incident. However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Parvaiz Ahmad Parray, son of Habibullah Parray, a resident of Allahipora, Wagoora, Kreeri in Baramulla district.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, while further proceedings have been initiated to ascertain the circumstances leading to the electrocution. [KNT]
