President Murmu Calls For Adoption Of Latest Techniques In Ayurveda For Greater Good Of Society

President Droupadi Murmu has called for the adoption of the latest techniques in Ayurveda for the greater good of society.

Addressing the inaugural function of Saushrutam 2026 in New Delhi today, the President said that the Central government has established Ayurveda and Yoga on the global stage with renewed energy. She expressed satisfaction that efforts are being made to establish the ancient tradition of Ayurvedic surgery on scientific standards.
The President said the Ministry of AYUSH is working closely with the World Health Organization to strengthen the global standardisation of Ayurvedic healthcare. She noted that standardised documentation, digital health integration, and the effective use of modern scientific research techniques will help enhance the worldwide acceptance of Ayurveda.
The President Murmu expressed confidence that the deliberations at the symposium will generate new knowledge and further strengthen international cooperation in the field of Ayurvedic surgery.
