Three Injured in Bear Attack in Bandipora

Bandipora,  KNT: Three persons were injured after a bear attacked them in the Ketson area of Aloosa in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday, officials said.

Officials identified the injured as Ghulam Hassan Doie, son of Karam Din Doie; Lateef Kataria, son of Maam Din Kataria; and Bilal Din, son of Sharaf Din Doie, all residents of Ketson, Aloosa.

Soon after the incident, all three injured persons were shifted to the District Hospital Bandipora for treatment.

Officials said the condition of the injured was being ascertained, while the incident has been taken up by the concerned authorities. [KNT]
